Kiruna-Lind Devar matriculated from The National School of the Arts as Top Dance Learner. She has performed in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (2016), which earned her a Naledi Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical, in the national and international touring productions of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT (2017), EVITA (2017/18) and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, where she played Meg Giry (2019/20). Kiruna has been a featured performer in The Big Production’s SIMPLY BROADWAY (2017/21/22), MY FAVOURITE THINGS (2018/19), THE MAN AND THE MOUSE (2019/22) and DISNEY IN THE PARK (20/21). She has also played Mrs. Fox/Mable in Roald Dahl’s FANTASTIC MR. FOX at The National Children’s Theatre in 2020, marking the official opening of their outdoor theatre.
Kiruna played Bird in Tom Coash’s THIN AIR (2018/2020) and has featured in Janice Honeyman’s SLEEPING BEAUTY (2015) and SNOW WHITE (2018), which earned her a second Naledi Nomination for Best Actress in a Musical, for the role of Snow White. Kiruna most recently played the titular role in Janice Honeyman’s CINDERELLA in 2021.
Kiruna has also been a featured singer in multiple corporates and events, namely BIDVEST ON BROADWAY in 2015. She continues to perform in the corporate industry as well as in more intimate spaces and events with her jazz duo/quartet featuring David Cousins.
Kiruna-Lind is also a singer/songwriter who has featured on tracks such as ‘Just Kids’ with Steve Umculo as well releasing her first single ‘Truman Avenue’ in 2021. Both are available on all streaming platforms.
Kiruna-Lind is also a qualified Usui Reiki Master and opened her practice Ki – Reiki and Readings at The Pink Room, in 2020.
